Perform installation, inspection, service and repairs on special hazards fire suppression and attached electronic fire alarm panels and other related building system products. Service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers' special hazard systems (including Ansul, Chemetron, Pyra-lon, Cardox, or Kidde-Fenwal). Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and operational product manuals. Manage daily call activity and program system products, including completing inspection and service call reports. Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Knowledge of test equipment: oscilloscope, multi-meter, digital analyzer, battery analyzer, frequency meter, decibel meter, and communication devices
NICET Certification preferred
State Certification where applicable (or ability to obtain industry licenses required by national, state, and local codes)
Minimum 5 years working knowledge of fire alarm and suppression systems, both conventional and addressable
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
