This position will report directly to the Chartwells K12 Rye Brook Finance Group with dotted line responsibility to the RVP. You will support the RVP and senior staff by providing general financial support for operations within the region and guiding the weekly and monthly management reporting, annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and ad hoc analyses as required by the RVP and Rye Brook.
P&L and balance sheet knowledge.
Compile new and rebid proforma and analyze for accuracy.
Prepare and analyze monthly management reporting new, rebid and lost business reporting, weekly Business Owner Reports.
Provides financial guidance to operating units within the region on matters involving client returns, revenue and profitability goals.
Assists in compiling and analyzing budgets and forecast and considers "what if: scenarios and brings forth suggestions to the RVP.
BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
Foodservice experience is required, K12 preferred.
5 years of related experience is preferred.
Experience with SAP, Excel, Power Point, Access
Strong organization and time management skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to travel within the region.
