SUMMARY OF POSITION :
Responsible for the overall management of the quality function in the Supplier Management organization. Also, is responsible for the overall management of the QA Incoming and PK2 areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Manage the QA Incoming Area to ensure compliance with the approved incoming test standards and procedures.
Evaluate incoming components trends to assure continuous improvement of the supplies.
Drive direction and expertise relative to inspection equipment, techniques, methods and/or procedures to be used for specific dimensions/components and blue print interpretation.
Monitor and distributes QA performance measures associated with the suppliers performance and assure that the corresponding corrective actions are in place to improve performance.
Coordinate Supplier audits with internal resources and QA Divisional areas.
Drive the resolution of quality, design, receiving, rejects, documentations and any other issues associated with the raw materials under responsibility and/or critical supply issues for the organization.
Responsible for developing and establishing of QA Supplier Management Process with all areas related. Responsible to evaluate the performance of assigned personnel including Incoming area and to develop and execute plans of improvement for their performance. Responsible for the VI/STS process and driving compliance with the inspection level requirements. Support projects through the PPAP review and approval as part of the raw material changes/improvement. Own the PK2 inventory and Raw Material NCRs to drive the cross functional groups to review, analyze and disposition material.
Support the initiatives related to measure and improve supplier capabilities.
Support OpEx program element to our suppliers: Lean SPC

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Education required/ preferred:
College Degree or Equivalent with concentration in Engineering or Materials Management.
Broad knowledge of a specialized field in QA management. Supervisory and Management skills. Strong negotiation skills.
