Position: Webmaster BRODART COMPANY

POSITION : Sr. Web Designer /Developer
DEPARMENT : 0442 – Web Developing
FACILITY : McElhattan Supplies Division

This person will function as an integral and important member of Brodart’s Web Development Team. Working cooperatively and collaboratively with other member s of the Development Team and the Marketing Team, the Sr. Web Designer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Brodart’s E-commerce website. This person will be essential to improving the company’s efficiency and increasing the usability of the site by examining the site analytics. Applicant must have strong understanding of marketing theory and tactics including e-mail marketing and SEO/SEM. Specifically, this person will:
  • Work with multiple departments to coordinate the design and deve lopment of web pages to support
Brodart’s e-commerce website.
  • Design and implement onl ine A/B and Multivariate tests on a regular schedule to promote sales
  • Design, create and maintain customer surveys, contests and other web forms
  • Responsible for coding and implementing website analytics
  • Ability to interpret established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while creating and implementing actionable direction for improvements
  • Develop and implement a strategy to measurably enhance our website’s SEO
  • Maintain current knowledge of Web design technologies
  • All other tasks as assigned
  • Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 4+ years experience managing web content in an E-commerce environment
  • Experience in search engine optimization, web standards and practices are required
  • Developed visual style and thorough understanding of how typography, layout, color, usability, information architecture and search eng ine optimization impact design
  • Expertise in Google Analytics
  • Candidate will be required to share portfolio that demonstrate s relevant projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines
  • Must be flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to resolve problems with precision and composure
  • Ability to learn new technologies and explore current web trends
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Expertise at scripting HTML quickly, cleanly, and accurately for a multi-brows er and multi-bandwidth audience
  • Intimate knowledge of related Internet programming and multimedia technologies, including but not limited to:
o C#
o JavaScript
o Microsoft Office Suite
o Adobe Photoshop preferred
o Adobe Illustrator preferred
o MSSQL – preferred
