is recruiting for a

Lead Pharmacy Order Entry Technician

to join our team. This position organizes pharmacy technicians such that the efficiency of the pharmacy dispensing operation is optimized; manage to completion processes from data entry to delivery.

Essential Functions:
Direct daily workflow from data entry to delivery in an effort to maximize efficiency.

Assist Operations Manager in the hiring, supervising and evaluating pharmacy technicians

Assist in revising and updating policies and procedures.

Communicates with nursing center personnel and other customers in a pleasant and professional manner.

Maintain a clean, safe and organized pharmacy

Assist in each department as necessary

Performs other tasks assigned.

Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pharmacy technician license if required by State.

National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.

3+ years supervisory experience and/or long-term care pharmacy experience

Firm understanding of state and federal pharmacy regulations and company policies and procedures.

Firm understanding of long-term care pharmacy environment

Ability to coach and supervise technicians in various roles.

Ability to operate personal computers and/or computer terminals.

Ability to effectively communicate with senior staff members.

Skilled in performing detailed work and multi-tasking.
