EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree or Diploma RN required. B.S.N. degree preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
PALS or ENPC Required
NRP/Neonatal Resuscitation Required
Electronic Fetal Monitoring Education Required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to read, analyze, interpret periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, or regulatory agencies.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient-focused outcomes.
