Business Development Representative - Equipment

Outstanding opportunity with a reputable farm equipment manufacturer is now available! We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager to help grow our market share in Minnesota and the Dakotas.

What you will be doing in this Business Development Representative position:

The Business Development Representative position is responsible for partnering with and developing all dealers/distributors in the assigned territory. The incumbent will develop an in-depth understanding of all markets in the territory that pertains to our product lines or relevant industry. The incumbent will also develop a strong working relationship with the dealers to establish a marketing plan that will accomplish company business goals for these product lines in this territory.

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered:
Strong farming/agronomy background with equipment knowledge and high mechanical aptitude

2+ years successful equipment manufacturer or dealership sales experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Hands on approach to working with dealers to demonstrate equipment and exhibit at farm shows

Extensive knowledge of seeding, tillage, farm implement, harvesting equipment

Willingness to travel 3-5 days a week

Currently living in sales territory with extensive contacts
