Cox Communications is looking for a customer-focused 3rd Party Retail Sales Specialist to be the primary point of contact for both new and existing customers. As a 3rd Party Sales Specialist, this individual will be working in 3rd Party Retail locations guiding customers through the purchase decision and activation process of Cox product offering (cable, data and voice).
Reporting to the 3rd Party Retail Sales Supervisor, this role is responsible for meeting established sales objectives by matching customer needs with the right products and services. As a critical member of the sales team, this role requires strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The 3rd Party Retail Sales Specialist will be provided learning opportunities to stay abreast of the rapidly evolving Cox products and services and is expected to translate how device capabilities address various customer needs. To be successful in this role, this individual should have an aptitude for sensing and responding to various consumer types.
In addition to customer service responsibilities, this individual plays a key role in maximizing sales and profitability to our partners by focusing on key business initiatives, store merchandising, marketing execution, and maintaining a strong business partnership.
Responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly quotas and sales expectations.
Sustain satisfactory calibration monitoring, secret shopper scores, rankings and sales goals.
Solutions oriented individual and can identify gaps and overcome barriers.
Must have reliable, consistent transportation and ability to work at a variety of retail locations.
Act as a trainer and disseminate information to sales employees regarding changes to products, campaigns, processes, etc.
Assist in creating store contest and incentives.
Maintain professional cross functional partnerships.
Acts as submect matter experts for the Sales organization assigned to special projects and initiatives.
Reconcile Cox inventoried equipment in store.
Adhere to key behavioral expectations
Performs other duties as required.
High School diploma, GED, or relevant experience
Minimum of 1 year of retail or sales experience
Must have reliable, consistent transportation and ability to work at a variety of retail locations
Must have a valid state driver's license and a good driving record. MVR will be completed.
Eligibility to work in the United States
Proven ability to meet established sales targets
Some college preferred
Willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends, evenings, and holidays
Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products and services
Ability to be mobile within the store for long periods of time to greet and assist customers
