Specific Accountabilities:
-- Serves as the Project Engineer; schedule, facilitate and direct all aspects and achievement of project deliverables for a product line, company or division.
-- Manages internal development schedules, communicates deliverables to team, and coordinates activities between various disciplines
-- Server as technical focal point of communication between technical development team(s), manufacturing engineering, and production supervision.
-- Facilitate product documentation deliverables, procurement initiatives, and release customer technical data package(s).-- Provides guidance and work supervision for other engineering and technical personnel as required by projects.
-- Manages product release checklist, status project tasks, and report results to team.
-- Assigns design work including test data collection, conducting feasibility and trade studies, and determining design criteria in accordance with required standards and specifications.
-- Prepares project documents including project justifications, budget analyses, calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules for assigned projects.
-- Reviews and checks engineering drawings, plans, computations, estimates and reports for completeness, accuracy, and soundness of applied engineering principles, policies, and design criteria.
-- Work with internal and external personnel such as, field technicians, subcontractors, customer contacts, and/or engineering firms, to solve engineering challenges.
-- Ultimately responsible for assuring compliance with documented development processes and associated entrance criteria for all development process gates/milestones.
-- You'll be responsible for formulating complex project schedules, establish baselines, manage work packages, and status task completion percentages while reporting progress to management. Will also advise on work force planning. Strong Microsoft Project experience; any EVM knowledge/exposure is a plus (tool used Dekker/Trakker).
-- BS or MS degree in Science or Engineering along with 6+ years of related industry experience. US Citizenship required.
