This position is responsible for performing the following tasks for a business unit: communication targeted to the Operational VP/General Manger and staff concerning specific divisional issues and company-wide processing optimization concerns; Capital Plan Management / project filtering which would include Engineering, IS, I.E., and Technology Development; CIR development and support at the plant level (this may include any development activity up to and including finance committee defense); strategic asset utilization and management which includes line and plant rationalization, vehicle utilization, maintenance labor resource analysis, consistent and improved use of vendor partnerships and support; coordination of the company's shared resources within the division which include Engineering, IS, R&D, Q.A., EH&S, Purchasing VMRs - Nalco PFP program, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Tyson's eLearning Program usage and development, PSM standards - USPI Ammonia Oil Program; utilize corporate standard reporting and processes - KPIs, Data Packs, Equipment Level Budgeting (ELB), maintain master data CMMS recording standards; attend regular corporate level meetings with MCIs and other DEs to ensure/develop improvements of corporate programs; process line and plant assessments; facilitate maintenance planning & scheduling processes across division; processing plant optimization - development and use of standard maintenance processes and standard PM program strategies, tapping into plant process knowledge by celebrating success stories; facilitating tag team opportunities; encouraging individual growth, promotion and succession planning programs and opportunities (PMP); maintain corporate level reporting standards so VPs, SVPs, CEO and CFO can easily understand and compare operations; any other duties as assigned.

Education: B.S. in a technical field, Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.

Experience: Poultry Operations, 7+ years of progressive responsibility.

Computer Skills: Excel, Word, MS Project, MS Outlook, SAP CMMS and or other CMMS systems

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are mandatory; will be facilitating operations change in diverse groups.

Special Skills: Process knowledge in poultry slaughter and cut-up; must have a customer service business attitude; must be able to work in an unsupervised environment answering to multiple internal customers at all levels.

Certifications: Any Operations or management certifications are a plus.

Supervisory: No direct reports, but will guide many indirectly which will include engineers, consultants, plant management and team members.
