Meyertons, Hood, Kivlin, Kowert & Goetzel, P.C., an intellectual property law firm in Austin, Texas, is seeking candidates with a background in computer-related technologies who are interested in a career in patents as Technical Advisors, Patent Agents and/or Associates.
Candidates must have a solid technical background and the ability to quickly learn new technology. An engineering or science degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science) is required. We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in mobile device communication technology, wireless communications, computer graphics, Internet applications and services, or microprocessor architecture. We are also interested in candidates with experience in web services and web-based solutions, computer architecture, software application development, networks, distributed computing, image processing, object-oriented programming, or test and measurement. Candidates must have excellent English communications skills, including strong writing ability.
