Pitney Bowes Mail Services This position will sit in our Pitney Bowes Mail Services business unit. This business unit helps customers earn the best possible discounts on First-Class® and Standard® postage with our presort services, doing work the U.S. Post Service would otherwise have to perform. This service spans the globe with international offerings, ranging from mail preparation and fulfillment to courier and freight services. We are currently seeking a Logistics Representative. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. This position will be located in our Omaha, NE location.
Our Logistics Center is the centralized communication hub for all Pitney Bowes Presort Services Transportation activity. The Logistics Representative is responsible for tracking shipments and proactively communicating any potential service disruptions to the appropriate response team and ensuring a resolution is achieved.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide internal and external customer communication and reporting
Ensuring accurate documentation of occurrences causing disruptions in service
Provide detailed tracking of loads, contacts, and solutions while communicating in potentially stressful situations; and relaying information to and from drivers as well as other PBPS employees.
Provide a thorough response to incoming calls regarding transportation dispatch from drivers and customers pertaining to situations that could result in delays in pickup or delivering the mail on time.
Communicates information to the appropriate departments to ensure the needed response and service functions are occurring to verify satisfaction.
Ensure on-time delivery and minimal delay which involves tracking and reporting situations as they occur.
Communicate proactively and effectively in a professional office environment with multi-faceted customers, emergencies agencies, the general public and employees.
Communicates weather delays, road closures and other emergency situations to the appropriate internal and external personnel.
Manages customer concern and complaints in a professional manner.
Documents and tracks all communication of situations until resolution has been achieved.
Impeccable follow through with accuracy and timeliness.
Relays information to and from drivers and other PBPS employees.
Functions as the initial contact for communication with regulatory agencies and the general public exemplifying a professional personification.

Work Hours : Sun - Thur 2pm-11pm, depending on current business needs
Must be flexible to work overtime, off hours and/or a rotating shift based on operational need Hourly range of pay is $14.00 - 18.00 per hour based on previous experience and skill set.
