The University of Southern California Graduate School is seeking an innovative individual to join its IT team that designs web applications for the university's diverse graduate community.

This new position, Senior Programmer Analyst (Programmer Analyst IV), provides an exciting opportunity to apply technical expertise in a dynamic environment, integrate new technologies to build a common framework, manage the enhancement and maintenance of existing web applications and demonstrate team leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
Combined work experience and education as equivalent
Minimum Experience: 5 years
Minimum Field of Expertise: Relevant work experience providing strong technical knowledge of programming and analysis, and senior or lead experience.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree
Preferred Experience: 5 years
Preferred Field of Expertise: Knowledge of ASP.NET is desirable. Knowledge of development methods/process models like Scrum/Agile is highly desirable. Experience in building platforms/frameworks is highly desirable. Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows environments. Familiarity with object-oriented language (ex. C#, Java), web development (ex. Ajax,HTML/HTML5, JavaScript), web frameworks (ex. ASP.NET, Python Django, Ruby on Rails, PHP Symfony or codeIgniter/Zend), SQL, CSS and design patterns like Factory and MVC pattern.
