We are currently seeking a local Technology Manager that will provide the business knowledge and technical skills to implement technical strategies, evaluate products and provide a superior level of technical support.
Manage systems eDiscovery platform components for Hosting and Processing Systems.
Design and utilize troubleshooting strategies to solve software problems.
Provide functional and technical support for daily issues/requests, custom scripts, and ad hoc reports.
Insure platforms are performing to expectations, diagnose and assist resolving when not.
Coordinate and oversee regression testing.
Develop and test software tools, scripts, utilities, and widgets using a variety of methods and tools that support the eDiscovery lifecycle process.
Assess the functionality and limitations of various computer related hardware and software products.
Troubleshoot and resolve application system and/or software problems.
Maintain technical documentation necessary to make the assigned systems operational and efficient.
Research and recommend new software applications and utilities to improve efficiency.
Coordinate and/or perform additions and changes to network hardware and operating systems, and attached devices (e.g., routers, bridges, CSU/DSUs, backup devices, repeaters, modems); includes investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation, and testing of new network hardware and software.
Provide direct support in the day-to-day operations on network hardware and operating systems; duties include evaluation of system utilization, monitoring response time and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems
Troubleshoot at the physical level of the network, working with network measurement hardware and software, as well as physical checking and testing of hardware devices; at the logical level working with communication protocols such as X.25, 802.3, T- 1 and TCP/IP standards.
Participate in planning design, technical review and implementation for new network infrastructure hardware and network operating systems for voice and data communication networks.
Maintain network infrastructure standards.
Provide technical consultation, training and support to IT staff as designated by Director.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field or commensurate work experience.
4+ years of experience in IT industry.
4-6 years experience with hardware and software installation and maintenance, in a PC/LAN-WAN environment
2-4 years of experience in SQL and/or MS Access.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems & general networking concepts as well as virtual technologies.
Experience in .NET, C#, or other programming languages.
Experience with parsing and scripting languages such as Perl, VBscript, etc.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex communication problems.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience with traditional search technologies and tools, such as DTSearch.
Have a working knowledge of the e-discovery review process, privilege/redaction logging and the various workflows required for processing and production deliverables.
MS Certification (MCSE, MCSA, etc).
Experience with VMWare, Hyper-V, Cisco, Powershell.
