Food Service Sales Manager

, located in

Wichita, KS

. This position will be accountable for executing CVAM-Retails’ food service strategy and commercial priorities for the food service channels served. The position will work together with Cargill Foods North America (CFNA) to proactively develop new customer opportunities through direct interaction with the customer base. The position will also be accountable for the execution of the project portfolio as it relates to food service. In addition, accountabilities will include development and training of the Cargill Foods North America sales team on CVAM-Retail products and capabilities. The position will also be accountable for developing key customer strategic plans and multi-touch points with those key strategic customers.

Principal Accountabilities:
30% -

Formulate and execute business plans from the strategy for each food service channel served

20% -

Enable the CFNA sales team to grow sales – products and processes

20% -

Develop relationships with existing and new customer base to grow sales

15% -

Provide customer requirements to R&D and project management

15% -

Further develop food service competencies within the BU


Bachelor’s Degree in business or foods-related program

At least 10 year’s professional Food Service market channel sales experience with demonstrated growth in category

Demonstrated project management leadership experience working across multi-functions (R&D, product management, category management, marketing, etc.)

Demonstrated strong computer skills and experience (including MS Office programs)

Demonstrated strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening

Initially up to 50% travel required within the first year, but then average around 25% after
