Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Position Requirements: HS Diploma and flex. hours required. Knowledge of Medical Terminology & ICD-9/CPT coding. In/out patient exp a plus. 2 yrs exp w/ in-patient acute care, coding and DRG assignment knowledge preferred. Must pass selection test.
Position Responsibilities: The Coder is able to compile, code, classify, store and retrieve accurate patient data as conveyed by clinical members of the medical, nursing and ancillary staff.
