Position in Qualitative, Critical, or Interpretive Communication at the University of South Florida.
The Department of Communication at the University of South Florida invites applications for a one year appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor with a possible extension for a second and/or third year. The position begins August 2013.
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):
A Ph.D. in Communication is required at the time of employment, though will consider ABDs who can demonstrate that they are positioned to complete the degree by employment date. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate that they are committed to excellence in teaching and prepared for a four course teaching assignment each semester.
Preferred Qualifications (Education & Experience):
Area of specialization is open, but applicants should fit with our department's qualitative, critical, and interpretive orientation, and our integration of social science with humanistic, narrative, and performative approaches to inquiry.
