Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Human Resources Shared Services Consultant opening to join our Human Resources organization.
Day to Day (what a typical day or week look like in this role)
Today, you might be deploying a key hr process to all 18,000 salaried employees globally. Tomorrow, you'll be analyzing data to determine what solutions need to be created to leverage our people investments. You will manage and own portions of the SAP- and web-based human resource systems and interact with key stakeholders across all levels and functions in the organization. We are looking for a detail oriented, systems wizard who loves to improve processes, analyze data and present findings to elicit action.
What You Will Do
As an active member of the human resources information systems and data analytics team, you'll have the opportunity to:
Accountability will be in support of the implementation of the Kronos Time and Attendance application in all manufacturing locations in the US. Work with the project team to configure, deploy and document the ongoing processes to insure smooth operation of the system and necessary integrations
Manage technology in support of Time and Attendance and Payroll processes.
Opportunities to engage in the deployment of other key HR processes such as organizational management, talent acquisition, rewards & recognition and organizational development through web-based, as well as SAP-based global IT solutions.
Apply process improvement methodology and insight to continuously improve human resources processes.
Provide data analytics, reporting and key insights on our people investments.
Partner with Global Information Systems, Human Resources and Whirlpool's partners to ensure data integrity, accuracy and globally consistent data design. Develop data audits, controls, and provide day-to-day system maintenance to monitor and maintain data integrity.
Build relationships with and work closely with our service providers. Ensure cases are being resolved, business requirements are defined and accurately translated to functional requirements, and needed design changes are implemented successfully.
Partner with HR in developing meaningful test plans for new functionality and regression test plans to ensure consistent performance as processes and systems change globally. Coordinate global testing.
Provide HR support through training and reporting on system functionality.
Advise on emerging technologies that support and enable strategic direction. Introduce, provide insights and gather best practices in data display, analytics and communications.
Design, create or source additional IT solutions to improve our HR processes and people investments. (web-based scorecards, internal websites, improved reporting, etc.)
Protect the privacy of our employee data by managing security roles and periodic security audits.
What You Need To Succeed
Strong ethics, integrity and values - never compromise on data integrity and security

Ability and confidence to question everything - ensuring we are continuously improving our processes and measuring the right data
Project management skills
Bachelor's degree in information systems or business administration. Master's degree a plus.
3 years experience with IT solutions
Experience working with outside service providers, vendor management
Work experience with geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
Experience working in HR-especially Time Management-is a plus.
ccOPEX (six sigma) application a plus.
