The National Account Executive position is responsible for achieving sales targets across all businesses for the distribution assigned to this territory. This role is responsible for understanding a broad range of product, users, applications, and distributor models to effectively determine what products their customers should support. Average sales volume ranges between $3-5M+. The responsibilities and duties of the National Account Executive include but are not limited to developing and executing strategic plans by effectively utilizing marketing programs, National Account Managers, leveraging field resources, distributor and end user product training, outside sales work with and end user conversions; achieving sales targets for Power Tools, Hand Tools, Pneumatics, Accessories and Support Key National Account Branch/Member activities; regular calls on all Distribution in assigned area; providing support to Distribution on product training, end user work, marketing and merchandising; communicating opportunities, issues, trends to management and marketing; implementing divisional goals; establishing key relationships with Distribution and key end users; and effectively managing T&E and MAP Budget.


To be a successful candidate for this position you will need to possess a Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent; excellent communication skills--both verbal and written; strong relationship-building ability; strong organizational skills; a strong follow-through with great attention to detail; goal-oriented focus; and a self-starter attitude with high energy.
