QA Tester

Are you an experienced QA Tester looking for a new position where you will work with a team of testers to ensure quality solutions are delivered to fulfill complex business requirements? TM Floyd & Company is hiring a QA Tester to conduct functional, end-to-end, regression, user acceptance, and smoke testing, and reporting under the supervision of the senior QA Tester .

The QA Tester will perform the following day-to-day tasks:
Access, manipulate, and validate test data Validate test files content, capture testing evidence files, and document test results Create testing defect reports in HP Quality Center and track them to resolution Develop and maintain test cases and report results Escalate the issues and risks in a timely manner Work with requirements analysts to ensure that requirements are timely and accurately tested Participate in JADs, system related walkthroughs, and overview sessions
The ideal candidate for the QA Tester position will possess the following personality traits and professional background:
Must be able to work independently under minimal supervision, but also thrive in a team environment Excellent judgment, decision-making, and organizational skills Background in manual & automated testing of applications with Web Services using J2EE and UI Hands-on experience with HP Quality Center, XML, MQ, and SQL Knowledge of MDM (Master Data Management) is highly desired If you are a QA Tester looking to transition into a new role that will help you grow in your career and hone your testing skills, we encourage you to apply today!


Bachelor' degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3 years of manual & automated testing of applications with Web Services using J2EE and UI Hands-on experience with HP Quality Center, XML, MQ, and SQL Flexible schedule and the ability to occasionally work different shifts Experience with MDM (Master Data Management) Must be a team player, but also able to work independently under minimal supervision Extremely organized and efficient with excellent judgment and decision-making skills Clent verbal and written communication skills
