The Title Operations Examiner is managed by the Title Agency Manager, and is responsible for the implementation of tactics that will increase client satisfaction, quality and profitability. To achieve these goals the incumbent has the following primary duties
· Examining, approving and issuing title commitments in multiple states within approval authorization guidelines
· Annotating client commitments based on client requirements
· Contacting abstractors to clarify search information or require additional information at examination/approval
· Determining existing defects, outstanding liens, claims or interest (particularly those that can affect the ownership or possession of the interest being conveyed)
· Interacting/consulting with Title Representatives, Data Entry Administrators and Risk
· Meeting title examination production and quality standards
· Meeting corporate audit guidelines
· Meeting team on-time performance objectives Desired Skill Set
· Knowledge of underwriting concepts, marketable title requirements and search criteria, and related Real Estate Lending industry
· Strong analytical and reasoning skills, problem solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills
