ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The District Services Manager will oversee and supervise daily warehouse operations including coordination of work between internal and external personnel. The incumbent of this position will also be responsible for the oversight and maintenance of inventory stock for inside and outside plant use, management of all Innovative properties, Innovative Fleet, Innovative Warehouse, as well as the staff oversight of janitorial, messenger, warehouse personnel on St. Thomas and St. John.

· Manage multiple projects relative to facilities from inception through completion, including the coordination and repair of building with contractors and/or maintenance staff
· Manage Logistics Associates and warehouse personnel to ensure completion of departmental goals and objectives
· Oversee inter-department and inter-building messenger services
· Oversee fleet supervisor and technicians, including oversight of the company’s fleet maintenance program
· Provide quality control over warehouse inventory and worker productivity
· Work closely with vendors to secure accurate information to expedite stock orders
· Perform building inspections
· Maintain appearance of properties
· Maintain AIC systems and air quality and cistern water quality for all buildings
· Maintain current stock level of warehouse and prepare orders for stock and new items when necessary
· Maintain cable yard on St. Thomas and on St. John
· Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and skills

· BA/BS or AD in Business Administration or related field or equivalent years of experience
· 3-5 years Warehouse management experience including material handling or logistics
· Experience working with purchasing, shipping documents and facilities management
· Experience working with tracking and routing software
· Heavy Equipment Usage (Forklift, Pallet Jack, etc.)
· Ability to communicate efficiently with customers, vendors, and management
· Ability to work a flexible schedule
· Demonstrated conflict management and resolution skills
· Demonstrated ability to coach, provide feedback, and manage substandard performance
· Demonstrated ability to manage complex and competing priorities
· Knowledge and Experience with Microsoft Office
· Excellent presentation, delegation, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
