Groundskeepers work in the Parks and Recreation Department and perform routine custodial and maintenance work on buildings, grounds, golf courses and gardens. Position requirements vary by department and assignment and duties may include working on lawn mowers or working on a crew performing grounds maintenance at various parks, golf courses, or facilities in Phoenix.

$13.35 (minimum) - $16.99 (maximum) hourly. This position is classified as part-time and does not include benefits.
Must be willing and able to learn the functions of a Groundskeeper, such as:
Ability to follow verbal and written direction
Ability and willingness to learn to perform manual labor
Be dependable and in good physical condition.
Working irregular hours, shifts, weekends, holidays and evenings may be required.
Moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds may be required.
Requires working outside in a variety of environmental extremes such as heat, cold, rain, air pollution, and dust.
Requires walking for prolonged periods which may include walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces
An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered.
