This position will provide leadership for UNO's international recruitment and admissions initiatives to achieve international enrollment goals. Doubling the number of international students within the NU system is one of the strategic priorities established by University of Nebraska.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop & implement communication and marketing plans for the recruitment and admission of international students. Supervise international admissions team. Review and update policies and procedures as needed to insure productivity and efficiency. Maintain institutional guidelines for evaluation of international credentials. Travel internationally and domestically to recruit international students. Collaborate with other campus units to advance strategic recruitment/admissions initiatives. Participate in professional organizations, workshops and seminars. Initiate and maintain relationships with sponsoring agencies, foreign and US governments, international education organizations and UNO alumni. Gather, analyze and utilize data to identify opportunities for international recruitment/admissions. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree – Master's degree preferred. Two years' experience in international affairs, marketing or admissions. Familiarity with educational systems outside the US. Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. Supervisory experience. Ability to take the initiative and promote a culture of strong customer service. Ability to travel domestically & internationally - flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays. Independent worker with high level of accountability; able to execute multiple projects in fast-faced, high-pressure environment, with limited supervision. Experience in data analysis and interpreting admissions trends. Strong knowledge of documentation related to non-US systems of education.
