Our client, a large firm of chartered quantity surveyors (PQS) now seeks a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to take a role as Project Surveyor reporting to a Senior Q.S. to join them in Miami, Florida, USA. You should be British or Irish and be MRICS qualified ideally with a BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar subject. You will need to have gained around 5 years to 12 years post qualification on large projects and have experience working for a firm of private practice quantity surveyors with experience of both pre contract and post contract work.
You should have experience in using CATO and have good experience of technical measurement. Experience of value engineering is required to be able to challenge the cost of complex projects. You will need to have worked on high value projects, ideally mixed use. My client is ideally seeking someone who is available as soon as possible.
