We are currently seeking talented Compensation Program Manager for our San Antonio, TX facility.
PURPOSE OF JOB
Designs, develops, consults and implements/administers enterprise compensation pay programs, practices and guidelines that attract, retain and motivate high performing employees to achieve USAA's enterprise, strategic business objectives and deliver on our mission. Serves as a transformation agent to champion innovative compensation initiatives at the enterprise and/or CoSA level. Manages the development, implementation and delivery of compensation programs, communication and change management strategies. Leads and facilitates crossfunctional teams, including partnership with other People Services functions, business leadership, change management, Legal and Corporate Communications to deliver timely and relevant solutions or practices that positively impact the workforce.
JOB DUTIES

Serves as the primary communications contact for the Compensation organization; leverages strong technical and business expertise to advise the team on how to maximize communications effectiveness for optimal business results.

Leads the development, implementation, and assessment of strategic compensation communication and change management plans that identify key messages, target audiences and intended outcomes.

Consults business partners and leaders of assigned CoSA providing guidance, oversight, and communication on existing pay policies, strategies and bonus plans.

Utilizes knowledge of compensation function, industry and technology to incorporate business process improvements into the organization; recommends, implements, and plans for improvements, enhancements to the systems in support of the business functions.

Provides end-to-end project/program management throughout the lifecycle of a project / program by directing the efforts of team(s) in a matrix-reporting environment.

Has full accountability for managing concurrent high complexity projects and/or programs which may span multiple People Services functions and/or COSAs.

Responsible for design, development, implementation and administration of enterprise-wide or CoSA-speciic compensation and related programs, practices and policies.

Plays a key role in educating, influencing and collaborating with the business to proactively design and deliver consistent, compliant and market competitive programs, practices and guidelines involving pay structures, performance management practices, and total rewards strategies.

May work with human resources, vendors, and/or internal information systems staff to design new or modify existing human resource information systems to meet changing requirements; may develop and maintain appropriate system and process documentation.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor degree or 6 years relevant work experience.
8+ years general business consulting/analysis experience or business management experience.
4+ years project/program management experience of high-impact and/or enterprise-wide scope.
Experience leading cross-functional, highly complex teams with senior leadership interaction in a matrixed environment.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other software to be used to develop analysis, charts, and/or supporting documentation. Preferred

10+ years relevant work experience in one or more human resource discipline and/or general business consulting/analysis experience preferred.
6 years relevant work experience in the compensation discipline with advanced knowledge of compensation rules and regulations.
Possess comprehensive Human Resource knowledge and Information Technology skills.
CCP and/or PHR/SPHR.
