The Department of Medicine at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, which is located in Philadelphia, is seeking Physician Hospitalists/Noturnists to provide patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Primary duties will include examining and evaluating patients admitted to the ICU, diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries of human internal organ systems; monitoring care and documenting clinical status of patients; performing critical care medical procedures; prescribing medication and recommending dietary and activity programs; and providing regular, timely and appropriate communication with referring physicians, patients and their families.
An MD/DO/foreign degree equivalent; completion of 3 year ACGME/AOA-approved Internal Medicine Residency Program; BC/BE and PA license/eligibility required. Must be available for nights and weekends coverage.
