The Computer Science Department at Mount Holyoke College has a
one-year position for a full-time, visiting assistant professor in
any area of specialization. We are seeking someone with a strong
interest in teaching and working closely with undergraduate
students. The teaching load will comprise five courses for the
year. Applicant must have Ph.D, or expected by September 2011.
Teaching experience is required.
Mount Holyoke is an undergraduate liberal arts college for women
with 2,100 students and 210 faculty. Half the faculty are women;
one fourth are persons of color. It is located about 80 miles west
of Boston in the Connecticut River valley, and is a member of the
Five College Consortium consisting of Amherst, Hampshire, Mount
Holyoke, and Smith Colleges and the University of Massachusetts.
