Provide overall support to the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders in the area of undergraduate and graduate student processes, and curriculum. Responsible for curriculum paperwork processing, textbook ordering, grade processing, student registration questions and problem solving, assist with undergraduate and graduate application processing and paperwork. Assist department chair, graduate chair and scholarship and awards committee with graduate assistantship/fellowship process and notifications. Responsibilities include department Blackboard page development and maintenance, minutes for division meetings, and staff support for faculty unit. Assist other department support staff as needed.
Associate degree plus four years office/clerical experience required; equivalent education/experience considered. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are a priority. Excellent computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software are required.
Experience working in higher education preferred. Knowledge of student registration programs desirable. Working knowledge of university processes and procedures helpful.
