Description and Desired Qualifications
CH2M HILL Senior Process Piping Designer – Phoenix, Arizona

The challenge? Provide technical and application support for the Industrial & Advanced Technology group. Our Senior Process Piping Designer jobs provide you with an opportunity to work on state of the art industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities. You should be a self-motivated professional with at least 10 years of experience as a piping designer in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, renewable energy industries, as well as a desire to grow personally and professionally with each new piping design job.

Our Senior Process Piping Designers :
Lead and direct other process piping designers and drafters to meet project schedule and quality benchmarks.

Are familiar with semiconductor facility process systems such as ultrapure water generation and distribution, high purity gas and chemical storage and distribution, waste collection and treatment, compressed air, cooling water, and vacuum systems.

Provide multi-discipline space management/coordination.

Collaborate with industrial engineers, construction and other design disciplines to resolve complex space management problems.

Are familiar with basebuild, PSSS, and tool install scope on semiconductor projects including equipment layout, pipe routing, piping rack space coordination, etc.

Are familiar with 3D CAD platforms, AutoCAD MEP preferably, and the development of equipment blocks.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience working on process piping system design.
Design experience using 3D piping platforms.
High School or Trade School or Associates Degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications

10 years experience working in microelectronics, Biotech and Pharmaceutical industries
BA/BS degree preferred.
