Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director for Housing Assignments, the Housing Assignments Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of room assignments for new and returning students throughout the year including summer. The Housing Assignments Coordinator is responsible for the day to day aspects of housing assignments and occupancy work. The Housing Assignments Coordinator works closely with many University offices including Admissions, Auxiliary Services, Bursar, Financial Aid and the Disability Resource Center. As a member of the Office of Residential Education and Services, the Housing Assignments Coordinator participates in projects and committees as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college/university in higher education administration, student personnel services or related field, Bachelor’s degree is required. Two years professional residence life or student affairs experience required. Live-in experience is a plus. Excellent time management skills plus a strong proficiency in written and oral communication, and in the use of data base computer technologies, e.g., RMS, and related report writing.
