Senior Attorney — Intel Federal LLC - 705006 Description
      In this position, the individual will be responsible for providing primary legal support for Intel Federal LLC. Responsibilities will include: Acting as counsel and providing legal services to the assigned business unit leaders and their staffs. Developing and providing legal advice to all levels of the organization on a large range of substantive areas including U.S. government contracts transactions and compliance (RFP reviews, teaming agreements, grants, CRADAs, subcontracts, policy review and implementation) intellectual property (Bayh-Dole Act, technical data requirements), licensing and commercial contracts, classification of confidential information, etc. Actively participating with the business teams in the development and execution of complex business plans and initiatives. Negotiating, drafting and interpreting a variety of complex business agreements and technology licenses in support of the business unit. Working in teams, as a member or leader as appropriate, in order to resolve complex legal issues. Training business managers and legal colleagues on key legal topics.
      Qualifications
      The applicant should possess a J.D. and a U.S. State Bar membership in good standing with at least seven years of relevant experience. Additional qualifications include: 1) demonstrated expertise in U.S. government contracts law, including experience with the FAR, DFAR and DEAR regulations, and grant law; 2) demonstrated expertise in intellectual property law as it relates to U.S. government contracts, including the Bayh-Dole Act, technical data regulations, and marking rules and regulations; 3) proficiency in negotiating and drafting a variety of agreements related to U.S. government contracts, including national laboratory subcontracts, prime contracts, teaming agreements, and subcontracts; 4) exposure to negotiating technology licenses, software licenses, collaboration, outsourcing agreements and non-disclosure agreements; 5) ability to effectively communicate in complex organizations; 6) strong client counseling skills on a some variety of commercial legal matters such as intellectual property, marketing or commercial sales; 4) ability to lead teams having both legal and business team members; and 5) ability to effectively multitask and manage multiple projects and priorities.
