Selected candidate will interface with Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) to troubleshoot and resolve computer issues. Serves as the Program Office’s System Administrator for the SIPRNET. Manages the Program Office Shared Server documentation libraries and access permissions, email distribution lists, and other information management items. Provides strategic planning and database management for the Program Office. Applies fact-finding approaches, knowledge of pertinent work processes and procedures, and familiarity with related computer programming practices, system software and computer equipment.
An associate's degree from an institution accredited through a U.S. Department of Education approved agency is required. Two (2) years of related experience in addition to the requirements below may be considered in lieu of degree.
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in software, database management and server maintenance is required. Experience with Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and SIPRNET is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred.
Occasional travel to government/ contractor sites may be required.
An active SECRET clearance is required. Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
