May Center for Child Development in Randolph is currently seeing a Vocational Specialist to be responsible for the development and implementation of vocational programs for students within the school and in community settings.
Applying age- and population-specific competencies
Documenting vocational progress and critical incidents
Developing short-term vocational objectives based on student skill levels
Following vocational and behavioral protocols in a community setting
Providing transportation for individuals within the local community
Implementing skill-based programs as directed by supervisors
Assisting with job marketing and job development activities on campus and within the community
Maintaining open lines of communication with current employers and supporters of the Supported Employment Program
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field
Certification in vocational education and ServSafe preferred
Previous experience in human services and education
Strong verbal communication skills
Valid driver’s license
