Do what you love and love what you do! Become a Branch Associate with RBC. As a Branch Associate with RBC Wealth Management – one of the nation’s largest full-service investment firms – you’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of client transactions.
In addition to clerical duties you may already be handling, such as answering telephones, coordinating mailings, opening and distributing mail and providing some administrative support, you’ll have important operations responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Sending buy and sell orders
Maintaining all operations-related files
Recording all checks/securities/coupons received from clients and crediting them to proper accounts
Notifying Financial Advisors of receivables from clients
Sending transaction documentation to regional and national headquarters
We’re seeking someone with some previous securities, banking or entry-level mortgage experience.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
2 years general office experience
Knowledge of investments
Customer service experience
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and reside within 50 miles of office
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Basic math skills
Good written, verbal, and inter-personal skills
Good organizational skills
Advanced attention to detail
Able to manage multiple demands and competing priorities
Able to work with a variety of personalities
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Associate of Arts degree or post high school education or training
Previous financial industry experience in securities, banking, or mortgage
