JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Animate and render game-ready assets using Maya and or 3dsMax
Maintains or exceeds a consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high quality work
Must be able to work as part a team and also on their own, taking responsibility for organizing their work within the production schedule, managing files, and meeting deadlines
Create custom biped and quadruped rigs.
Able to take direction from the Leads and Supervisors and feedback from the Directors
Can demonstrate a strong understanding of classic animation principles and fundamentals
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Previous production experience or exceptional artistic skills/abilities in CGI/traditional artwork
Must also be proficient in rigging and character animation with examples of looping walk or run cycles
Be able to work in aftereffects and do VFX Animation
An excellent understanding of classic animation principles and fundamentals (weight, staging, timing, movement, anticipation, exaggeration, follow through, etc.).
Art-related degree and/or comparable professional experience
Ability to communicate visually, and to identify and define visual design issues and solutions
A passion for games, virtual worlds, and social networking
Experience in Flash including creating optimized movies, buttons, and animation preferred, but not required
3+ years of professional experience with Maya or 3D Studio Max, shipped titles a plus!
Be able to fix broken rigs – Python, MEL, or maxscript knowledge a plus!
