This intern will support the Resource Development Department with fundraising related administrative support, event planning, data entry and logistical coordination of physical resources, and people.
The successful candidate will:
Work with Development Director to plan and execute Spring 2013 online appeal initiative Assist with data-entry to maintain accurate records Assist with writing letters and creating collateral material for Marketing purposes Accompany assigned staff to partnership meetings Assist with planning the Dining for a Difference Young Atlantans event Assist with planning cultivation events led by Board of Directors Effectively communicate with potential and current donors with acknowledgement correspondence Effectively network and participate in outreach events Coordinate schedules and events as assigned Other duties as assigned
Junior /Senior Undergraduate or Masters Level Student
Career interest in non-profit Organization
Experience with Raiser's Edge software
Ability to Self-Start with minimal oversight
Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
Exceptional Listening Skills
Strong Organizational Skills
Ability to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office
A positive, outgoing attitude
Event Planning Experience
Previous Experience in a non-profit environment
Previous experience in Coordination capacity
