The Defense Personnel Services Business Unit has approximately 2000 employees and operates at hundreds of locations across the United States and overseas in Korea, Japan, Italy, and Germany. We provide personnel services to military personnel, military families, and civilians working for the military. Our capabilities address a wide range of managed services, as well as the complete military lifecycle which includes recruitment, to active duty through retirement.
This position requires familiarity with the terminology of the office unit. The General Clerk selects appropriate methods from a wide variety of procedure s or makes simple adaptations and interpretations of a limited number of substantive guides and manuals. The clerical steps often vary in type or sequence, depending on the task. Recognized problems are referred to others.
Required Skills and Experience:
High School Graduate/GED
Excellent communication skills
Supreme customer service focus
Requires previous experience within a military community and previous experience in U.S. Army Human Resources.
