Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Systems Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health IT, Health and Human Services operating unit, an organization that serves the IT needs of state and local governments.
The selected candidate will direct architectural, design and lab/environment activities for the SHHS DDI organization.
The candidate will provide technical oversight and leadership across programs, IRADs and new business opportunities.
The candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate with the technical staff, senior management, external vendors, and the Customer.
This individual must be able to drive decisions and solutions.
- BSCS or engineering or a related field
- At least 5-8 years of experience in development/integration/test/system engineering, virtual architecture, VMWare, Unix/Linux, SOA, windows, Linux, COTS installation/integration
Familiarity with any of the following is a major plus: , JBoss, Oracle, Java EE, XML, SAN storage, network and cloud computing
