Foundations for Living is a residential facility for male and
female adolescents with behaviorial or mental health issues.
Located on the edge of Mansfield, Ohio in a rural setting and with
easy access to I-71, we are a CARF accredited facility offering
indvidual, group and family counseling to our residents.
FFL is seeking an on-call maintenance technician to provide
support in the general upkeep and repair of the buildings and
grounds. The housekeeping/maintenance
team's focus is Service Excellence, in support
of Foundation for Living's mission to ensure an environment
of safety where the residents feel empowered to heal the wounds of
the past and build a foundation of hope for the future.
The maintenance technician must be self-motivated to complete high
quality work in a timely fashion and able to work
independently. Duties may include
general maintenance and repair of interior and exterior
areas, plumbing, electrical, maintenance and repair.
The successful on-call technician may be given the first
opportunity to move into part or full time positions as they are
available.
Requirements
Minimum high school diploma or GED required. Education in
facilities upkeep (plumbing, electrical, construction) a
plus. Formal work experience in the field preferred; must
demonstrate knowledge of basics in construction, plumbing, electrical
and floor care.
Hours will vary but must have evening and weekend
availability.
Will be required to pass a criminal background screen.
Must have a valid driver's license and meet insurance
requirements.
