Transplant Financial Coordinator
performs duties of moderate complexity, judgment and scope. The Transplant Financial Coordinator coordinates and manages all financial aspects related to
insurance benefit information, authorization, billing and collections
. These duties span all insurance types including complex global contracts, managed care, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial and single case contractual agreements for all types of transplant services (Liver, Kidney, Kidney/Pancreas, Heart, VAD and BMT) for all phases of the transplant period from evaluation to post transplant.
The Transplant Financial Coordinator will serve as a resource to transplant patients and their families, clinical staff, physicians and insurance companies.

- Must have excellent customer service skills and work well with teams. Will work directly with patients, clinical staff and physicians.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field OR 5 years of insurance related work required.
- A minimum of one to two years of reimbursement experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
