Iowa State University's Student Counseling Service is seeking applicants for a generalist Staff Psychologist position which will provide a variety of services to a diverse college population including individual, group, career, and couples counseling; crisis intervention; outreach and consultation; and substance abuse and eating disorder assessments. Other duties will include supervision of practicum students and interns (APA accredited internship) and administrative tasks as designated.
The successful candidate will possess strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Doctorate from an APA accredited program in counseling or clinical psychology and one year experience providing clinical services (experience may include a doctoral internship).
Experience providing clinical services in a college or university counseling center.
Additional years of experience related to the duties of this position.
Experience working with diverse client populations.
Licensure as a Psychologist.
Commensurate with qualifications
Must obtain license as a Psychologist in Iowa within 12 months of start date and maintain license throughout duration of employment.
