This position will report directly to the Regional EHS Manager,and focus on implementing our comprehensive safety programs.This position will lead cross functional concerted efforts to

reduce injuries in a manufacturing setting. Successful candidate should be a focused team player with proven liason, coordination and communication skills and a desire that zero injuries are possible.


Reviews the site practices and conditions on a consistent basis for implementation of policies and procedures.Document control of all safety


and regulations (i.e. BBP, near miss, and safety scorecard)


Interaction with hourly employees to support safety processes and affect the culture of safety at the facility


Hazard identification/Risk Reductions Activities


Provide Coaching and training to employees at all levels of the organization


Investigate incidents and analyze trends, work closely with nursing to work through


Required Qualifications:
General Knowledge of safety regulations

Proven organization, planning, and communication skills

Effective presentation and training skills

Demonstrated team building skille and influencing others

Skills must include use of Microsoft Office Software and ability to learn Cargill specific applications


Preferred Qualifications


Bachelor of Science degree in related fields


Safety experience in process implementation in a manufacturing environment


3 plus years in operations management or EHS field
