We currently have an opening for a Patient Financial Advisor.
Screens financial un-sponsored patients and assists them in finding payment resolution for their accounts. This includes negotiating settlements, insurance, public assistance, payment arrangements, charity or bad debt.
Gathers proof on sponsorship from the patient.
Monitors accounts until they are secured per the University of Kansas Hospital's credit and collection policy.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Basic computer skills required.
Three years experience in customer service and accounting functions in a Health Care setting preferred.
