Key Role:
Evaluate a DoD command's progress toward achieving strategic theater, regional, and country objectives and execution and maintenance of directed focus areas and operations, actions, and activities. Support CONPLAN and irregular warfare and unconventional warfare analysis assessments and higher headquarters assessments. Apply skills in research and analysis to perform qualitative and quantitative analytics on indicator data. Perform extensive all-source research on various aspects of countries in the PACOM theater. Develop and refine indicators, metrics, and assessment frameworks. Introduce analytical and technical solutions that facilitate assessment analysis. Work effectively within a team oriented environment and with other staff elements and commands to build relationships, gain buy-in, and obtain data.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with DoD or the PACOM theater
5+ years of experience with operational and strategic research and analysis
2+ years of experience with conducting assessments, including objectives, effects, measures of effectiveness, and measures of performance
Knowledge of systems and implementing solutions to facilitate assessments
Ability to apply skills to metrics development, assessment analysis, and development of alternative solutions
Ability to gather, analyze, and organize large amounts of data, including quantitative and qualitative
Ability to conduct in-depth research on a range of topics and functional areas
Ability to develop and present analyses using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
TS/SCI clearance required
BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with the US military
Experience with Special Operations
Experience with planning and Theater Campaign Plans
Possession of excellent analytical and reasoning skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
MA or MS degree preferred
Clearance:
