The Project Manager will provide project rigor to the assigned work streams as well as develop project plans in association with the work stream owner and monitor performance against the plan. Ensure that the project proceeds through the defined steps with all key deliverables for that step being delivered. Monitor the risks associated with the project and develop mitigation plans. In addition, identify deviations to the plan(s).
      Responsibilities:

      The Project Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:
      ·
      Develop the project business case in conjunction with the Work Stream Owner
      ·
      Drive the project team to develop a clear project plan and project deliverables
      ·
      Manage the full project life cycle from initiation to closeout
      ·
      Manage project dependencies and deliverables
      ·
      Ensure responsibility for producing deliverables is clearly communicated
      ·
      Keep the team focused on delivering the highest business value
      ·
      Agree on project completion and handover criteria with customer / users
      ·
      Ensure all project documentation is updated and maintained to include project initiation documents, project plans, risk and issue logs, change control documents and any other information for the project
      ·
      Identify and manage dependencies with other projects
      ·
      Liaise with project sponsors and stakeholders
      ·
      Ensure all newly defined process and capabilities are completed and handed over to relevant departments
      ·
      Manage Change Requests for the project proactively
      ·
      Monitor resource allocation and highlight conflicts / over allocation
      ·
      Highlight slippage against tasks/milestones, recovery plans and implications for project delivery
      ·
      Reverse mentor Work Stream Owner to improve the management and delivery of project
      ·
      Ensure Project documentation is archived appropriately to enable leverage of business learning on future projects.
      ·
      Manage project status reports and budgets with Work Stream Owner
      ·
      To be the trusted subject matter expert on the Project plan by the program team
      ·
      Identify project risks and issues and maintain project level Risks and Issues Log
      ·
      Drive project team to develop mitigation for identified risks
      Qualifications
      ·
      10+ years experience as a Project Manager with SDLC experience
      ·
      Experience with a change management tool such as Rational, Remedy, or MKS
      ·
      Experience managing a capital budget which includes hardware, software, internal and external development and testing resources, and statements of work for off-shore vendors
      ·
      Ability to work with resource managers (i.e. Business Analyst Manager, Development Manager, Testing Manager, Infrastructure Manager, and Configuration Manager) to determine work breakdown structure to task level.
      ·
      Ability to complete weekly status reports, RAID logs, PMO artifacts and monthly financials.

      A team player with excellent communication skills, who is flexible, pro-active, able to “multi-task” and work under pressure with minimal supervision

      Six Sigma/Lean Six Sigma Black Belt - Desirable
      ·
      Prior financial services experience – desirable
      ·
      Payments / FX experience desirable
