4-yr College degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred.

Skills Required:
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Windows 7 Enterprise.

Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office 2007 and Office 2010.

Thorough understanding of Microsoft Active Directory.

Basic understanding of Group Policy Objects (GPO) and Group Policy Preferences (GPP).

Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows Server software including print and file shares.

Thorough understanding of Microsoft networking technologies (DNS, WINS, DHCP, etc.)

Thorough understanding of Ethernet based TCP/IP Networking Technologies

Familiarization with Windows SharePoint

Basic understanding of desktop security controls and systems

Ability to upgrade desktop and laptop computers with RAM, hard drives, network interface cards, etc.

Able to work independently and as a team member

Understanding of remote computing options such as WiFi, wireless broadband, VPN and Citrix Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience Required:
2+ years experience at Level 2 PC/LAN Support in a Ethernet based TCP/IP Network environment

Significant experience installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting Windows desktop and laptop computers.

Experience in using PC imaging software including Windows 7 MDT

Providing Level 2 PC/LAN support which includes installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting desktop and laptop computers running Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Windows 7 Enterprise. Imaging new and existing desktop/laptop computers. Deploying and configuring Windows Mobile, iOS, Android and Blackberry devices. Assist the Network Group with cable and patch management. Individual will be responsible for ensuring complete security, confidentiality, reliability and integrity of corporate data, proprietary information and intellectual property. Must be able to troubleshoot problems, interface with customers, Information Technology personnel, and other departments in a large corporate environment to help minimize down time and outages. Individual must be able to work independently and as a team member on projects with many challenges. Individual will also need to be self-motivated and perform on-call duties on a rotating schedule while working safely.
