Zynga is looking for a Senior Analyst, Strategic Initiatives and Integration to join our growing team! This position will support the planning, process/tools and execution for strategic initiatives as well as integration of acquisitions and joint ventures at Zynga.
The ideal candidate has high intellectual curiosity, superior analytical skills, a strong work ethic and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams. This individual has to be comfortable working on multiple initiatives in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Work across Zynga’s multiple business units and become an expert in the breadth and depth of the world's leading social gaming business.
Provide consultative support and analysis on strategic planning and process improvement initiatives
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decompose high-level information into details to identify trends and changes to business drivers
Develop metrics and manage the performance scorecard to evaluate success
Develop and maintain best-in-class market analysis playbook, checklist and support materials
Participate in M&A integration due diligence, risk assessment, and planning & execution across multiple teams (Business, Engineering, Product, Legal, HR, Finance, IT, Facilities, etc.) to ensure effective and smooth integration of newly acquired companies
Work in the U.S. and internationally, as required
Required Skills:
3-5 years experience in corporate/business development or management consulting
Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, confidentiality and sensitivity
Proven analytics, modeling skills and experience working with partial and/or complicated datasets
Problem solving skills including structuring & disaggregating problems and developing & testing hypotheses
Ability to maintain multiple projects and conviction in high-pressure situations involving strong personalities
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
Exceptional project management skills
Consensus builder with solid negotiation skills
Ability to effectively partner with senior members of the organization, target management
International experience required
Nice to Have:
Passion for new technologies, media, gaming and internet products
At least 3 years of integration or cross-functional operations experience in a management role with a track record of success Internet and media industry experience
Fortune 500 and start-up environment experience
Proven ability to quickly learn new areas of technologies, business models and map them to Zynga’s technologies and practices
Ability to understand people and business cultures of organizations of various sizes
International business experience, familiarity with local cultures, customs and practices
BS / BA from top-tier institution in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related.
Technical background – Computer science, engineering dual-major / minor
