Position Purpose

To review carrier credentials in order to determine if the carrier meets U.S. Xpress Logistics Brokerage compliance requirements. Enter required data into carrier files within multiple operating systems. Scan documents into the imaging system for safe storage and future reference.

Job Functions
  • Enter new carrier information into multiple operating systems.

  • Revise, review and update data for existing carrier files within multiple operating systems.

  • Solicit carriers in order to collect any missing information that is required to meet U.S. Xpress Logistics Brokerage requirements.

  • Ensure that accurate data is entered into multiple operating systems.

  • Follow U.S. Xpress Logistics Brokerage standard operating procedures for carrier compliance.

  • Communicate with Carrier Reps through various means in order to collect and distribute carrier compliance information.

  • Daily reporting and transmission of U.S. Xpress Logistics Brokerage KPI to key business owners.

  • Regimented reporting and auditing of carrier compliance data.

  • Direct support to the Carrier Compliance Team Leader.

  • Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the department is operated in an efficient and cost effective manner.

  • Ability to work on an USX site or USX customer location site while performing the essential functions of this position.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Key Knowledge and Experience
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma.

  • Demonstrate basic computer skills and ability to type 25-30 wpm.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills. Uses telephone techniques effectively.

  • Effective time management. Able to process large volumes of transactions quickly and accurately. Works well under stress.

  • Develops and maintains positive customer relations. Knows and understands the needs of carriers

  • Good problem-solving skills.
