The Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Foundation is pioneering a bold new comprehensive approach to breast cancer, with a mission to unlock each woman's genetic code, advance today's prevention and treatment, and end breast cancer for future generations.
We’re looking for a passionate, energetic individual who can create salient, relevant and engaging email and inbound campaigns that will strategically peak our constituents’ interest and lead to philanthropic giving. This person will be responsible for the creation of lead generation offer content (eg. e-books, info graphics, kits, blogs, etc.) and also for planning, building, testing and deploying email fundraising communications as part of Edith Sanford’s integrated brand building, communications and fundraising plans. Knowledgeable about leveraging social media networks, this individual will also be responsible for setting and implementing social media and content strategies.
Designs, builds and sends integrated marketing email campaigns (e.g. an e-newsletter) for online fundraising.
Develops and integrates fundraising elements (email appeals, banners, online creative, donation forms, etc.) to support campaigns across channels. Draft content and secure graphics/images when appropriate for inclusion.
Plays a role in strategic planning for interactive communications, including social media, SEO and email marketing.
Works with the Director of Digital Marketing Technology to ensure alignment with Edith Sanford’s strategic plan, marketing strategy and data integration.
Understands inbound marketing concepts – things like blogging, and social media, but also more advanced concepts like lead nurturing, email marketing and more.
Manage video and webinar programs, as well as white papers, e-books and blogs.
Define and maintain the content calendar and resource library so they align to our organization-wide positioning efforts.
Establishes and reports on campaign metrics & ROI, with the ability to analyze the impact of programs on donation funnel stages.
Product automated programs and processes to enable lead generation programs and nurturing campaigns that drive donations.
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or related field. Three to five years communications-related work experience preferably with an emphasis on integrated/online marketing/communications/web editing/publishing. Knowledge of AP style required. Solid experience in Microsoft Office, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, JAVA and Adobe CS Suite experience preferred. Technical and analytical experience with online fundraising platforms such as Convio TeamRaiser, a plus.
